The Lord's Goodness During Our Launch of The Judah Set

This is the perfect place to share some love of the Lord. My company, Lighted Path Films & Productions is a creative services firm and event production company. Aside from design/animation, visual acquisition services, I create high-end communications platforms. A planned world-class jazz festival and a social network and party production series for mature Christians called The Judah Set.

Since the launch of TheJudahSet.com the Lord has been so kind in adding to our number someone or something special every week. We're here in Dallas, Texas and he has been adding to our number people as far away as the United Kingdom. As a matter of fact, the Lord is in the process of using one person in London to introduce this concept to Europe. It's through one person who is a Member of TheJudahSet online community that now I'm being approached by the BBC radio to interview and discuss our concept in entertainment.

So, I thought I would share that point and my excitement that we are experiencing in this early stage of our network's launch. It's a very challenging project in many ways and we are not insulated by Church walls. This a for-profit enterprise. We are out here in the deep water with this project for the world to see how Christians are living. And, we are using The Judah Set platform to demonstrate how the people of God interface in an entertainment sense.

Aside from the online community of believers who are showing their love of the Lord in the things that they are gifted in, we are supporting the efforts of brethren in a social sense promoting music of artists that would never be heard on main stream radio. And, when we begin going into some of the top Ultra Lounges and venues in major markets around the country and United Kingdom (Lord willing) we are directly taking over the atmosphere from the 'prince of the power of the air'. In these productions we are hopeful that our online community in each market will support the event, but, when we go into these very beautiful and popular venues we will not know who is Christian and who is not. So, the Lord inspired that we drive home a point to the members of The Judah Set that the only way the world knows that we are the Lord's disciples is by the love we show for one another. There may be someone who frequents the venue and may be there to have drinks, dinner and whatever. They'll encounter the music of The Judah Set and will be touched in some form or fashion. It's undeniable! The music from some of the featured artists on our playlist is second to none and can light up any atmosphere. Not to mention the Lord's presence is with His people! We'll be anticipating the Lord touching people in very special ways and will be able to make sure that if they don't know the Lord they will be led to Him should the miracle of salvation take place for someone. Of course, we want the Lord to use the event to save souls. That would be great and we will be prepared for anything along those lines. It's important in this concept to show the difference between those who love the Lord and those who don't. In this project it's important for the world to see that Christians know how to have fun in the Lord their God!. It's very important. Too often, Christians go out and support other secular events to fill the void for entertainment in their lives. So, when this thing begins to be presented the last thing we need is for Christians to clam up! The redeemed of the Lord must step up and have fun and say so with all their strength in Christ. It's in this that the Lord will show Himself strong on our behalf.

So, this is where I solicit the prayers of the Saints. There's no way that we're all on the same page spiritually, but, we trust the Lord and will go forward not fearing any mistakes we may make along the way. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. And, I claim my righteousness in Christ Jesus, for real.

So, I thank the Lord for downloading this concept to me and using me to bring joy to a section of the Body of Christ that enjoys fashion, food and entertainment. It's not everybody's thing, but, it's what the Lord has given to me to occupy my time until He comes. Please pray for me and this project and praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy.

I'm glad you were able to glean something from it.

Sharing this is an outlet for me. This is all family to me. The Lord has added many mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters to me and I just share my heart where I'm most comfortable. This is a great place to step away from what I do and just vent and share my joy in the Lord in His presence.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement with regard to what I'm doing. And, man, do I appreciate the prayers. The Lord has provided a lot of encouragement to me from those who have embraced the concept of this social network and production series. That alone is rewarding, but, I'm also seeing Him opening unique doors to keep people focused on the Kingdom of God. It's my prayer that He will use the site for His Glory in anyway He wants.

I'll definitely keep everyone posted on the developments with The Judah Set and how the Lord is using me.
